As Hurricane Milton bared down on Florida, our team members who tend bridges were required to be on standby to reopen the bridges once the hurrican passed. Barry Poston, Velociti’s Corporate Director of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, loaded up his personal truck and trailer with supplies to drive to Florida from Arkansas for these team members. He brought water, ready to eat food and other needed supplies to help approximately 100 affected team members who were still recovering from Hurricane Helene. Barry is a firefighter and has done this before in other hurricanes. Check out Barry’s video updates below!
Barry’s journey is just another example of why we say that Velociti is built on relationships. We appreciate his efforts and the hard work and commitment of our bridge tenders in the Tampa area.
